Aeroseal software allows your technician to accurately measure the duct leakage in your home. The Aeroseal process puts escaping air under pressure and causes the polymer particles to stick first to the edges of a leak, then to each other until the leak is closed.

Wall registers and the A/C unit are completely blocked enabling the Arizona Aeroseal Technician to pressurize the duct work utilizing our own equipment. This allows us to measure the overall leakage in the duct work. The reason for this pre-test is that only the amount of sealant necessary to fill the hole (leak) is introduced into the duct system.
Sealant is introduced into the contained duct system.
Small aerosol particles are kept suspended in the airflow by continuous air movement.
As the air stream makes a sharp turn to exit through a leak, the particles collide with and adhere to the leak edges ultimately forming a weld to completely seal the leak.
A post-test analysis summarizing your home's amount of leakage reduction is generated, providing verification of the success of the process.
Prior to replacing the registers your Arizona Aeroseal technician will completely seal around each and every duct boot. This ensures that no air deflects off the inside of the register and back up into the walls or crawl spaces and continues to flow into the living space of your home.
